portfolio.ppvnx.com is Leo Zhu's personal portfolio: a set of machine-learning and generative-graphics demos you can run in the browser, plus write-ups, photo journals and links to the PPVNX apps. This policy explains what the site stores, what it does not, and how to reach us.
Every demo and page is open to visitors. There is no public sign-up. Accounts exist only for the site owner, to publish content through the Django admin, and are not offered to visitors.
The demos (digit recognition, fish and image classification, object detection, pose estimation, style transfer, OCR, text summarization, dithering, and the Mahjong bot) send your image, drawing or text to our server, which forwards it to a TensorFlow Serving backend on our own hardware and returns the prediction. The input is held in memory for that one request and then discarded โ it is not written to disk, not used to train anything, and not shared with any third party. Speech recognition and the WebGL sketches run entirely in your browser and send nothing at all.
We use Google Analytics to count page views and understand which demos get used. It sets a cookie and records the page you viewed, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not sell or share the data. You can block it with any ad or tracker blocker, or with Google's opt-out add-on, without losing any functionality on this site.
This site shows no ads and runs no advertising trackers.
Our web servers keep standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, URL, user agent) for security and debugging, and traffic is served through Cloudflare, which keeps its own edge logs. These are kept for a short operational period and then rotated away.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because we store nothing that identifies you, there is normally nothing of yours to export or erase. If you believe we hold personal data about you, write to us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
